Thank you once again tech-savy world, it is 9:30pm EST here in South Carolina and I am listening to tomorrow morning's harmonous Thai birds chirping on the other side of the world, where it is 9:30am...without any charge! I LOVE YOU, technology!
So here's my question for you: I want to know how technology has made a positive impact on YOUR life?

Using blogs, wiki, twitter, and a whole slew of other tools has gotten me a recent invitation to keynote a state level library conference. I have presented at many state and national level conferences. I have worked with the highest esteemed members of my profession as I presented a couple of times with Joyce Valenza and just this past summer with David Loertscher. (They are the school library gurus.) I was even asked to write a book. I can't count the number of doors that have opened to me just because I decided to get in the mix and sandbox technology tools.
ReplyDeleteThat's fantastic! Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI think it has helped me be a better learner. I take a advantage of all the tools that help me learn like blogging, connecting with other bloggers of a like mind, the collaboration, and access to lots of knowledge.
ReplyDeleteAt this very moment in time I feel the positive change that technology has made in my life is my ability to find answers quickly. I can research words, pronunciations, ancient history. I can keep in touch with friends and family far away.
